オークランド空港に到着 - Arrived at Auckland Airport
シドニーを15時45分に出発してオークランド到着は、近いから18時30分くらいかなと思わせての20時30分（時差）。ピータージャクソン監督の「ホビット」に出てくるドワーフの像らしいです。これは到着してすぐのところにある1体ですが、2階にもう1体あるらしいですよ。映画見たことない・・・。
We left out from Sydney at 3:45 P.M. I thought we could arrive until 6:30 P.M. But we actually arrived at 8:30 P.M. (including the time difference). There was a sculpture of a dwarf in front of the arrival gate. He seems appearing a movie named "Hobbit" made by Peter Jackson. The picture's sculpture is 1 out of 2. Another sculputure is located the 2nd floor in the airport.
時間も時間で観光には出かけられなさそう。
とりあえず空港に売ってる水の値段をなんとなく見てみた。2個で 8 NZD。600円くらいだね。やっぱ海外の水、高いわ・・・。ちなみに別の日にクライストチャーチへ行きましたが、このPumpって水、いろんなところに売ってますね。
We were arriving there late, so we seemed be not able to go out sightseeing area.
Anyway, I checked price of waters which were boughten in the airport. Price of that water below was 8 NZD for 2pcs. That is about 600 Japanese Yen. As I thought, waters in foreign countries were always really expensive.
By the way, we went to Christ Church another day. Then I saw this water named "Pump Water". They had sold anywhere in the New Zealand.

イビスバジェットオークランドエアポートというホテルを予約しました。夜遅くに着いて、特にできることもないだろうし、空港に近くて値段が安いホテルを選びました。
I booked the hotel named "Ibis Budget Auckland Airport". We had been guessing we couldn't do anything.because we were originally plannning to arrive late at night. So I chose the hotel which is nearby the airport, clean and relatively cheap.
Googleマップで調べたら徒歩4分と出ていたと思うんだけど後で調べたら下の通り16分と書かれてました。実際はめちゃくちゃ遠く感じて、何より途中まで歩道がありませんでした。
Before this trip, I googled the way to the hotel, it was written that it takes only 4 minutes. But actually we took over 30 minites. We felt it was too far from the airport. And our most concerning was almost not to exist sidewalks until the half way.
車がバンバン行き交う中でスーツケースをガラガラ引きながら危ない目に遭いつつなんとかホテルに着きました。Sakiちゃんゴメン・・・。
We reached to the hotel with our suit cases through cars crossing frequently. It was too dangerous way, so I was sorry to Saki.
空港から歩いて外に出るのは普通ありえない事なんだな・・・。実際、空港から歩いて外に出ている人は一人もいない様子でした。イエローバスってのがあって、それに乗ればほぼ24時間1人5ドルで行けたようです。下調べが足りず失敗・・・。
It might be rarely to walk out from the airport. Actually there was no people to walk out from there. You can take named "Yellow Bus". You seem to be able to reach any neighbor hotels almost 24 hours. I had lack of searching before this trip.
ホテルはかなり遠くて30分は掛かったと思います。イビスバジェットまでの道は空港からも看板が出ているんですが、その通り行ったつもりがひどい目に遭いました本当に。皆さんはホテル界隈、目の前のノボテルというホテルに泊まらない限りは歩いて移動しないようにしてください。無駄に体力消耗します。
The hotel "Ibis Budget" was too far from the airport. It took at least about 30 minutes. To Ibis Budget, there was a sign of how to reach there. We obeyed it, but we had a serious trouble like that. So you mustn't walk the airport out to hotels without below "Novotel" which is close to the airport. Otherwise, you'll waste a lot of time and power.

"Novotel" is here below. Maybe, there is no hotel without here, if you look for any hotel which is close to the airport.
安いけど、いわゆる普通ーのビジネスホテル - It is Reasonable but Ordinary Hotel for Business
今回オークランドは飛行機の乗り換えで寄っただけなので、ホテルはとにかく近く安くしました。予約したイビスバジェットは狭くてトランクケースは一つあけたら足の踏み場が無くなる感じでした。まあ、安いし、こんなもんかな・・・という感想。安めのホテルでも良い人なら全然我慢できると思います。
This time, I booked cheaper and more near as possible as it could. Its room is pretty narrow, so we could put only suit cases. If we do it, there was no space to move in the room. My thought, It was OK because it was pretty cheap. If you can accept cheap hotels, you can stay there.
下調べせずのUBER突撃ポンソンビー、しかし - Taking UBER and Going to Ponsonby without Investigation
ネットでポンソンビーという街が夜に栄えているという記事を目にしたので、UBERで38.5ドルで行けるようで呼んで向かいました。しかし、着いてみると全くと行っていいほど店が空いていなかった。。。運転手は日曜日だから空いていないのかも・・・と言っていた。結局うろうろして、行き道と合計して65ドルくらい取られました。不勉強だった自分が悪いのですが、UBERって定額じゃないのね・・・。38.5ドルでめっちゃ頑張ってくれるやんこの人！と思っていた自分をひっぱたきたい。
After we checked the hotel, we took on an Uber to go to a city named Ponsonby because its city is popular at night that I've heard. But there was almost no opened restaurant as I could say "Oh my god...". The driver of Uber said "Most of all restaurants are already closed because today is Sunday". I thought you could say earlier... We ended up to spend a lot of money for the Uber because we had driven around the city for the time being. It cost about 65 dollars for that round. The cause was lack of my studying but Uber was not fixed amount. I wanted me who thought it costs 38.5 dollars, to punch before taking the Uber.
グダグダ走りながら運転手と話して、とりあえず空いている店探してみるから降ろしてほしいと言ったのですが、「まじで空いてる店ないぜ？WiFiルータも無いのにWiFiスポットも無かったら帰りどうしようもないぞ？」と言われ、まあ、確かに・・・と諦めてそのままUBERで帰ることにした。一人旅、男旅ならまだしも奥さんもいるしね
帰りは44ドル。合わせて、109ドルくらい。7-8000円くらいかかってもうたな・・・。
We were talking lazy. And I said "We'll try to look for opened restaurants or cafes. Could you drop off around here?" but driver answerd "There was no opened restaurant absolutely. You don't have even an mobile Wi-Fi. If you can't look for any Wi-Fi spot, anyone may be not help you.". I thought "Almost exactly...". So we gave in the situation and we decided to go back to the hotel with nothing. If this trip was alone, it was not really bad. But it was with my wife, so it was horrible experience. The total of the cost was 109 dollars. Oh, my god...
ここで思ったのが、運転手は実はこんな遅い時間にポンソンビーに行っても空いている店なんてねーよと知っていたんじゃないかと。行き道はノリノリだったのに、帰り道は作業感満載だったし、なんでもいいから降りると言ったけど、かなりしつこく止められたし。実際のところどうなんだろう。良い人だったのか、悪い人だったのか。今でも答えがわかりません。
Then I thought the driver had known there was no opened restaurant at late night. He was groovy on the way, but he got to be very silent on the way back. And he stopped us many times to get off the car in spite of I wanted to do. Which personality was he actually weither good or bad? I haven't figured out him yet.
結局、なーんにもせずにホテルに戻りました！ - Eventually, We Did Nothing
この旅の1つの大きな汚点になりました。ポンソンビーの写真は1枚も取っていません。
特に遠出する場合、下調べは本当に大切です。泊まるだけの予定であっても、本当に出かけることはないのか、確認しておくのが重要だと思いました。
今回は思いつきでせっかくオークランドに来たんだし、行ってみるか！という気持ちで突撃して大後悔したのでした。
あと旅行好きには当たり前なのかもしれませんが、UBERは定額ではありません！！ハワイで使ったときは下調べしていたからか、トラブルも無かったし、表示された値段通りの請求になっていたと思うのだけど・・・。
It was one of our awful memories in the trip.We have no picture in Ponsonby. Especially, if you want to go a far place, preparing is really important. Even if you are plannning to only staying, you have to check a destination. It is very very important.
We winged to go there without any consideration. We had regretted.
When I went to Hawaii, If I remember correctly, It was fixed amount... Uber is not fixed amount. Reference this...
