     My Answer:
    Vienna is the capital and largest city in Austria.

  2. Why is Auckland known as the "City of Sails"?

     My Answer:
    It has many marinas and sailboats.

  3. What is Vancouver's economy built around?

    My Answer:
    It is built around forestry and tourism.

  1. Which of the cities featured in the article would you most like to visit? Why?

     My Answer:
    I want to visit Vienna because it is the best place which is introduced in this article. It looks have the nice view from anywhere high.

  2. How would you rate the quality of life in your town or city? Why?

     My Answer:
    I have lived in Kyoto, Japan. My thoughts, it has the highest quality of life in my country. Because there are a lot of traditional temples, natures, and cultures.  And the population density is about 500 people per square kilometers. I don't know what people density other countries have, but Kyoto has relatively low density in Japan. Tokyo in Japan has at least 6,000 people per square kilometers. Osaka where is the second city has at least 4,000 people per square kilometers. 

  3. Are sailing and fishing popular activities where you live? Please explain your answer.

     My Answer:
    What is sailing? For instance, wind surfing, or sailboating? Maybe if it means one of activities, Okinawa where is a resort in Japan is known as sailing. Japan is located surrounded the ocean. So we can enjoy fishing anywhere.

  4. Which city would you say is the “cultural center” of your country? Why?

     My Answer:
    Here's "cultural center" means the place where is bunched up many cultures or technologies.
    It is absolutely Tokyo. A variety of new restaurants what are from foreign countries are grand-opened there almost everyday.

  5. Would you prefer to live in Austria, Switzerland, New Zealand, Germany, or Canada? Why?

     My Answer:
    I went New Zealand just May in this year. The southern city named Christchurch was the most I want to live.
    I haven't gone over where I want to live. And I don't know very much about the other countries in this article.

  1. What would you miss the most about your town or city if you were to move? Please explain your answer.

     My Answer:
    Kyoto is known as a producton of green tea. So I'd miss I will get to not be able to eat delicious maccha sweets.

  2. If you were writing a travel article about your town or city, what details would you include? Please explain your answer.

     My Answer:
    If I do this, I would write about some of the representative temples. For example, Kiyomizu temple, the Golden temple, and so on.

  3. What are some of your country's biggest festivals? Please describe a few.

     My Answer:
    One of the biggest festival is Gi-on festival in Kyoto. It is held in every summer. The big "mikoshi" what is made of wood is carried on their shoulders by local people. And people keep to carry and march around the city that day.

  4. Would you describe your town or city as multicultural? Why? Why not?

     My Answer:
    In a way, that's right. On the other hand, that is not right. I mean many foreigners come here, but Japanese almost cannot speak English.

  5. Is your town or city popular with tourists? Do you see this as a good thing?

     My Answer:
    Sure. Very popular. It has both of good and bad aspects. Some Asian don't have manner. Japanese think being kind for any people. But a part of asian people make loud in sacred places. They often scatter litters and use bathroom dirty.
