  • Summarized in a few lines
    Sony PlayStation was released the first on December 3, 1994. For the time being, Sony have launched further 3 versions of PlayStation since then. Its series is 25th anniversary in 2019 and sold about 400 to 500 millions units. PlayStation2 has the most biggest numbers in this series. In 2020, Sony is planning to launch PlayStation5, so anyone might hesitate to buy PlayStation4 from now on. Anyway, Magnavox Odyssey is thought the first game console that the editor wrote.

  • My Impression
    The world 3 biggest game companies are Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo that I think. Most of people tend to think that each companies always competes their ideas of games. A part of the thought is correct, but another thought is also existed. Sony and Microsoft have much technics of electronic devices, so the release always high performance consoles. But Nintendo doesn't have it much. The company has much ideas and characters, like Disney, Marvel, etc.

     My Answer:
    It was sold on December 3, 1994.

     My Answer:
    It sold over 157.7 million sold.

    My Answer:
    Because of the PlayStation 5 is coming to stores next winter.

  1. What are your thoughts on PlayStation's record-breaking sales?

     My Answer:
    I thought Sony made its record, because it could be summed all series up.

  2. Have you ever owned a PlayStation? Please explain your answer.

     My Answer:
    Yes, now I also have a PlayStation 3 and 4. Recently, PlayStations were sold marked down 100 dollars. So I bought a PlayStation 4 Pro to replace from a normal PlayStation 4 that I have.

  3. What would you say is the best console you've ever played on? Why?

     My Answer:
    Nintendo Wii is the best console I've ever played. I think it succeeded to suggest a new play style of gaming console. Wii Sports, Wii Party, and so on.

  4. What was the first video game you played? How does it compare to today's games?

     My Answer:
    Playing NES is the first experience to play a video game for me when I was 7-8 years old. The games for NES were really simple and drawn by dots images. They had only 2D graphics. But today's games normally have 3D graphics included flash effects. They are totally difference.

    By the way, Japanese call NES to "A Family Computer".

  5. What do you imagine consoles will be like 25 years from now? Please explain your answer.

     My Answer:
    Maybe gaming consoles in the future will have a controller which using five senses. Now already PlayStation 4 has Virtual Reality technologies. It can makes me going to another world. Roughly I think its technology will be improved further.

     My Answer:
    I've ever visit arcades. When I was a high schooler, I liked to play fighting game of Dragon Ball.

  2. How often do you play games on your phone? Please explain your answer.

     My Answer:
    I play 2 games each 10-15 minutes every day. The first is one of a card game "Hearth Stone" , and the second is one of a simulation game of Japanese history.

  3. Is there a video game that you think you'll never get tired of playing? Please explain your answer.

    My Answer:
    Yes, there is. I think Pokemon series is the most interesting title that you won't get tired of playing. Actually, even each titles of Pokemon makes you sometimes getting bored. But almost every year, new series of them release. Then new (characters of) Pokemons are showed you off. Any Pokemons have really unique specifics. So you won't get tired of playing by the series. 

  4. Who's the biggest gamer you know? Please describe them.

    My Answer:
    I know that,  maybe that is "Master Takahashi" who called "Takahashi Meijin" in Japan. He could mush a button 16 times just a second.

  5. There's so much children can learn from playing video games. – Unknown. Do you agree? Why? Why not?

    My Answer:
    I think that is one of a studying way. If children learn only from playing video games, I can't agree with that. But if they study from mixed of gaming and so on, I can agree with it. I think enjoying is one of a crucial cause of studying continuous.
