Exercise 1 Vocabulary

I write several sentenses using these words.
And a tutor refines them if they need.

  1. aisle seat

    通路側の席(名詞) 通路の隣にある席
    I chose an aisle seat.

  2. window seat

    窓側の席(名詞) 窓の隣にある席
    I don't like a window seat because it can be difficult to take a toilet.

  3. blanket

    毛布(名詞) 人々が暖かさを保つために使う大きな素材
    My wife always put a blanket on her thighs during flights.
    (I'd like to express as a present sentense.)

  4. boarding pass

    搭乗券(名詞) 乗客が飛行機に乗る時に見せる必要がある劵
    Could you show me your boarding pass?

    Does the sentence usually use for someone who sit behind me?

    On the other side, how can I return it?
    "Can I return a blanket?" is correct?

Exercise 5 Role Play

We try to role them.

You are trying to find your seat in the airplane. Ask the flight attendant to help you. After that, ask for a blanket and order a drink. Your teacher will act as a flight attendant.

Me: Hey, I'm looking for my seat. Can you help me to find my seat.
Me: Excuse me. Could you give me a blanket?
Me: I'd like a cup of coffee. Do you have cold one?

I answer these indicaded questions.

  1. When was the last time you took an airplane? Where did you go?

     My Answer:
    I took an airplane last month as a business trip to China.

  2. What do you usually drink on a plane?

     My Answer:
    I usually drink coffee as possible as cold one.

  3. What do you usually do during flights?

     My Answer:
    Depending on the situation. As for a business trip, I almost look over the conference documents. As for a private trip, I play games or read some books. I watch movies rarely.

  4. Are you afraid of flying? Why? Why not?

     My Answer:
    I'm afraid of flying a little bit. Especially until 2 or 3 years ago.

  5. Which do you prefer, taking an airplane or a train? Why?

     My Answer:
    I prefer taking an airplane to a train because I can be stay comfortable for a long time.
